Perfect for shooting, or here, just keeping me warm while I try to remain upright in the fierce wind coming in off the open Atlantic.

Beautiful coat. Thank you for keeping us updated on Cording’s offerings. Sweet scarf. Is there a preferred prep scarf knot? People in our area often use what might be called thé simple “lay over.” Then, Parisian style, there is the fold thé scarf in half and put the loose end through the loop created by the fold. The “pretzel” is a bit more complicated. And for it to work best you need a scarf at least seventy two inches long. I prefer the pretzel. It has a distinctive and sophisticated look that stands out on the Left Bank, among other places.

DeleteSimply perfect! As always. Thank you, so very much!
ReplyDeleteI would say the “lay over,” as you call it, is most often seen and is seen as most appropriate. Thé Parisian loop is a bit outré on our shores. Many have problems tying the “pretzel” but it is worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteYes, we also do the pretzel. A silk and alpaca fabric makes a nice scarf.
ReplyDeleteWe've a 2020 X7 Excellence with the same coloured seats as those leather gloves Muffy . LOL .
