  1. Now you already know my views on this Muffy. We love bright coloured trousers over here in the countryside! Nothing better than a nice tweed jacket and a pair of bright cords e.g. purple, yellow or rasberry as above, or a blue blazer with a pair of pink cotton drill trousers. I have cords and cotton drill trousers in many bright colours. It's a misconception that clothing in the countryside is all dull greens and browns (other than in the shooting field)

  2. I like the DARK green and browns but the British can keep the bright colors.

  3. Personally, I will stick to the traditionally Breton Reds!

    1. Yes the classics-- purple, yellow, bright green, pink, bright blue and tan.

    2. You missed out orange and crimson red in the classics list!

Just add a tweed jacket in a window pane check, tattersall shirt and complimentary Shetland jumper.

    3. Ideally the window pane check should have the colour of the trousers in it

  5. Some might wear bright colour trousers, but they get mocked for it. The famous red trouser blog springs to mind.
