Muffmeister, I am mortified. Bates Sailing? What? There is no such thing as Bates Sailing. It is merely a ‘club’ organized by students who attend a Community College in Lewiston, Maine. Four-year, nationally ranked colleges nearby, such as Bowdoin, have a Division III Sailing team which competes with similar institutions. Please refrain from any future photos of anything to do with lesser Maine colleges, such as Bates and its equally unworthy twin, Colby.

ReplyDeleteI can understand how Bates and others might be viewed by some as an invasive species but I believe sailing is too much fun not to share.
ReplyDeleteYes, I suppose I might hire a Bates “sailor” for my crew.
ReplyDeleteIf Arizona State can have a sailing club, why not Bates? https://sundevilsailing.com
