Would anyone recommend LL Bean Boat Shoes? I am looking for some boat shoes with a non-white colored sole; any recommendations would be appreciated.

I like Quoddy's Canoe Shoe, which is very similar to an old Bean design, and made by some of the people who used to make the Bean version before they offshored production.
ReplyDeleteI'd stay away from standard boat shoes. Instead go for gym shoes with Vibram soles. Nothing beats Vibram for stability and non-slip characteristics.
ReplyDeleteboat shoes by definition need white soles.
ReplyDeleteI used to really like the Casco Bay shoes. I just sent back a pair because the left was too tight and I walked out of the right one. Plus, they just didn't like the same. Like plastic leather.
