Where do you get your turtlenecks? Seems like it's getting harder to find good ones in clear, bright colors.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately my only source is L.L. Bean. They have the best quality but their colors are mostly awful. They do have a new bright Blue interlock this season, Brightwater Blue, which is quite nice. The Lake in the Pima offerings is pretty good, but not as good as the Brightwater Blue.
DeleteThanks. I've been looking for a t'neck in hot pink, for instance, but the closest I got was "deep rose" (a bit too magenta-ish but acceptable) from Appleseed's - once a nice regional classic women's clothing store, founded in Beverly, MA, but now just online as part of a conglomerate headquartered in PA.
Deletefor darker hues (and more $), Fair Indigo turtlenecks may be worth a look. Vermont Country Store is another option - limited colors, but a few lighter ones at least.
ReplyDeleteThe ones I wore at school were Bonds, Australia and provided a very large selection of colours and patterns. The collar was high and snug enough without making me feel like I was on the gallows.
ReplyDeleteAs always, sheer perfection, in every respect! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteElegance to the 10th degree!
