  1. Your blog, are they still called "blogs" - is just so good.......The photographs you provide, well, there's nothing like it.........I really, really look forward to your stuff........I always catch myself driving around down here in Baltimore just looking at houses and there's nothing better.....So, I appreciate your same desire to just travel about and photograph "stuff"........I've got a lot of yachting in my background - so I thoroughly appreciate that side of your life and my father is a Yale graduate, so I'm grateful for those entries as well........Hard to find a more classic New England women..........Keep up the good work!

  2. For many years, I hadn't given much thought to LaCoste or Ralph Lauren. I wore polo shirts from Orvis and Bean and golf shirts from various clubs. Last few years, I've looked to the old standards and must say, they're still great.

  3. I'm partial to the Paul Stuart ones. People will notice the logo and ask what it is. When you reply that it's Dink Stover sitting on the Yale Fence, they look at you as if you are insane.

  4. Like most clothes, I have always bought whatever brand made their polo shirts using a pattern that best fit my height and shape. For most of my adult life that was Ralph Lauren Polo brand. And although I have no preference myself, I am curious if there is a preference here for ribbed vs. hemmed sleeves and if so, why?

    1. We think the ribbed is a finer finish.

    1. Polo shirts are essentially ocbd; the collars buttoned down so they wouldn’t slap your face. “Polo shirts “ are tennis shirts.
