We've been wearing the warm North Sea Shetlands for several seasons now and cannot say enough about them. They are a generously sized, 4-ply Shetland, which can be brushed. Shown here in wonderfully adult Graphite Green, these are offered in many other colors.

DeleteConsider sizing up and getting them brushed - which yields a more fuzzy appearance, but I love how they feel when brushed.

DeleteI can remember an ancient time (pre-internet) when the only colors for Shetlands you could find in shops and catalogs were navy, burgundy and green. Unimaginative and boring.
