Brisbane Moss Moleskin |
Hello, Are the Moleskin pants "tailored fit" or traditional (relaxed fit)? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThey are a relaxed fit -- they have a high rise, and plenty of room in the seat and thighs. They do, however, taper a bit toward the ankle which is different from most American trousers.
DeleteAlso wondering if there is much shrinkage in length ? I had several pairs years ago and they became much shorter with time.
ReplyDeleteThey are dry clean only.
DeleteNot a recommendation but sharing something. Brisbane and Moss recommends dry cleaning for cords and moleskin. I routinely wash both in cold water, inside out on gentle cycle and line dry. It works for me.
DeleteNice. You must do the same with your undergarments. Most people have plenty. Why use the dryer? What’s the rush? Line drying is also more eco-friendly, and less costly.
DeleteLine drying is definitely its own thing. It makes towels more scritchy, a plus to me. I have read that it helps keep moleskin tight, another plus. If you line dry and crave softness, toss it in the dryer for 5-10 minutes, not an hour.
DeleteI wash a lot of things in cold water, though by no means everything. However, I line dry shirts, some pants and a few other things. I'm sure that prevents any shrinkage but also because I think it results in the fabric having more "body," if you understand what I mean. Of course, when I was single, shirts went to the laundry. Now, I have one less excuse to leave the house.
DeleteWhat superb garments! Thank you so very much!
ReplyDeleteDuffle coats always make a statement!
