Bosie's outstanding season of Made in Scotland Fair Isles continues, with this new Islander. It improves the scene without drawing attention to itself, my highest compliment. Soft and sturdy with a lovely drape, the jumper pairs naturally with tattersalls. It blends in with the landscape and brings with it a cool grey/brown, earthy calm and beauty wherever it goes.

ReplyDeleteI am a bit confused - the design of this jumper is of Norse origin and not of Fair Isle or Shetland but typical Icelandic - The speckled grey gives it away as Donegal for neither the Norse or Icelanders speckle their vats of pre-spun wool. Nice jumper though.
