June is bustin' out all over The feelin' is gettin' so intense, That the young Virginia creepers Hev been huggin' the bejeepers Outa all the mornin' glories on the fence! Because it's June... June, June, June Just because it's June, June, June!
although the blue hydrangea is iconic, the under appreciated native, snowy white 'annabelle' hydrangea is an all American variety, that turns a beautiful apple green as it matures ...and dainty wild white asters mix happily with butterfly magnet zinnias
Would love to see you photo the bluff walk in Siasconset, Nantucket. The footpath is a public right of way behind the mansions along the shoreline. On one side there are beautiful homes and gardens, on the other beautiful Nantucket Sound. And Siasconset itself is drop-dead gorgeous, one of the most charming places on the planet (especially early summer as the flowers bloom!)
Wow, every photo a knockout. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJune in New England is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing me to travel in my mind during an otherwise stationary summer. These are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are a cure better than tranquilizers.
ReplyDeleteYep, my kind of photos ~ flowers, picket fences and New England houses. Thank you!
