Might be a weasel. It's the one animal I've never (or not yet) seen in the woods. Haven't seen a mountain lion, either; not even a Nittany. Seen just about everything else.
A robin sighting is a sign of spring for sure. The photo of the two children by beach, wow, that could be a Wyeth painting ( I thought it was at first---beautiful shot).
The photo of the oyster shells reminded me of my younger days as a landscape designer. I thought that crushing oyster shell couldn't possibly be too difficult and boy was I ever wrong! We finally rented an asphalt roller.
As usual, simply beautiful photos, Muffy. They have been thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. Seems like the canines have been inside during you recent shoots.
What animal is that in the photo below the white house with the flag?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fisher cat. Nasty little critters.

DeleteAh! So it's a fisher. They don't live around here. That explains why I've never seen one.
DeleteIt's a Fisher.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is it's a fisher cat. What is it doing out in the middle of the day? Not the most pleasant animal in the animal kingdom, not at all!
ReplyDeleteA lovely compendium of the change of seasons. The muddy ducks were especially poignant to me because Texas is so dry we have no mud.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photos to start the weekend! Thamk you so very much!

ReplyDeleteAnother breath of fresh air in this crazy world. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteAS usual, beautiful photos! The Fisher Cat looks interesting, are they native to the northeast?
ReplyDeleteLove the ducks!

Owls have been out and hooting lately.
ReplyDeleteGrown up fisher cat. Young ones have spots.
As usual, simply beautiful photos, Muffy.
