The Fabulous Follifoot for Men from Cordings of Piccadilly

Weighty yet Supple - Photos by Salt Water New England
The fabulous Follifoot, a Cordings' tour de force, is made of 100% Irish Donegal Wool from Ireland's Magee.  It is made for Men but being on the tall side I can easily wear it, especially with the raglan sleeves.  They describe it as weighty yet supple and that is precisely what it is.  The Irish tweed is especially soft and putting it on feels like a dream.  A wonderful piece with a wide range of wearing options.

  2. That is gorgeous. I could well imagine a prep bypassing the camel polo in favor of this!

  3. You should have gone for their loden coat, which is also water-resistant.

    1. Reminds me of a neighbor growing up. My father would get a new car and the neighbor would say, "Nice car! Why didn't you buy a Buick?"

  7. I bought a similar Donegal Follifoot Coat from Cordings about three years ago, and it is everything a tweed coat should be. Great quality. (A photo of my coat being modeled can be viewed on Cordings' Instagram account from November 23, 2016.)

  8. It's unconscionable to shoot and kill a tweed just to satisfy one's lust for luxury.

  9. This might be the best coat I’ve seen... just gorgeous. Being 5’ 1” doesn’t give me much hope for ever wearing it.

  10. I turned 60 three years ago and treated myself to this coat. It is extremely stylish and has attracted compliments and queries of 'where did you get that coat?' It is certainly showerproof and looks fine with a brown racing felt (trilby) hat or tweed cap. Definitely winter-weight.

  11. I've played cricket in Follifoot. It's a village near Harrogate in North Yorkshire.

  12. After first seeing this Bark Herringbone Follifoot, I sold my earlier Follifoot and bought this exact same one. It has a better length than my previous one (a real plus because I am tall), and is about as good-looking and well-made as any tweed coat can be. Overall, A terrific value for a true luxury item.
