  1. Great earrings - classic as I always expect. I am taking a break as I have just finished making dinner and I check your site, but I have a question for the community: has your dinner changed over the years? Now I try to limit all carbs and feature salmon often, as well as many Mediterranean choices. Curious if I am alone here on the West coast or if other are evolving? Many young Vegans in my family now.

  2. Classic earrings. I would love to have you re-post clothing suggestions for the upcoming holiday season. Those posts were helpful and inspiring! We don't need to run out and buy something new every year. Your old posts reflect an annual tradition. I miss them.

  3. As I look at those pretty pearl earrings and your beautiful hair, I am wondering if your hair going gray has changed what colors you wear? I am dark ash blonde, slate blue eyes and your pink skin, but just starting to gray. I have always been a "summer" in the seasonal color category, finding cream more flattering than bright white in pearls. But I am struggling with color choices not knowing how my waist length hair is going to change things. Should I wait for the winter white turtlenecks to come back in stock or just buy a half dozen bright white ones now? Thank you.

    1. Top of the list, cut your hair.

    2. Why should she cut her hair? Just because we age as women doesn't mean we have to chop off our hair.

    3. Stay away from the haircut stuff Muffy, as an eighty nine year old connoisseur of fine women hood you are doing just fine as is...!!!

    5. I believe that the length of hair "issue" came from someone's comment about the length of their own hair.

  6. To the first gal who commented about changing her eating habits; Think about Muffy's site here and the values promoted: It's all about the classics; timeless things that never go out of style. What your grandparents (hopefully!) ate is what we should stick to. I have yet to hear about a centenarian who was vegan! Fad diets prove their foolishness after several years of adhering to them. Some of the most ill (and most ill-looking I might add!) people I have come across are those who stubbornly stick to exclusionary diets that cut out entire food groups. It's a recipe for exhaustion and low energy. Fresh grassfed farm-raised meats (yes, that includes red meat! The so-called Mediterranean diet conveniently leaves out that fact--Greeks love their RED lamb meat!!), fresh fish right out of the sea, in-season vegetables, healthy fats like butter and olive oil, a hefty pinch of unrefined sea salt and even standard fare carbs like potatoes, yams and rice, which give energy! They are all good for a common-sense, healthy diet. Forget the "clean-eating" plant-based diets that are very "cool" right now (not to mention oh-so-politically correct). Just like clothing fashions, they will go out of style in time but unfortunately, unlike the ease of tossing an ugly outfit out, many will suffer ill-health effects for a lifetime as a result. Stay with what produced generations of healthy people in years past! It just makes sense!

    1. Or, you could just enjoy the beautiful earrings Muffy is wearing and save unsourced food lectures for Facebook. Our grandparents had an average life expectancy of between 60 and 65 years. Go figure.

  7. Well that escalated! Muffy, the earrings are lovely.

  8. Love the earrings but love the scarf even more. Would you be willing, Muffy, to tell us more about the scarf?
