Thank you for these! As I sit in my office on the 32nd floor of a building in Dallas, I am reminded of my childhood summers at our beach club on the East Coast. Lots of green and white, pink geranium, salt water swims, Arnold Palmers, Bean canvas bags, Tretorns and round robin tennis. Ice cream on the way home. No traffic lights and lots of stone driveways. Your pictures are a balm for my soul.
The best thing about these wonderful photos is that they can be brought out and shown again for the next 50 years without anyone knowing when they were taken (just delete the one with the autos which will date them). Timeless summer days in New England.

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the classic bottom left to top right diagonal in several of these.
ReplyDeleteDoes the walkway in photo 1 lead to the water from the cottage in photo 2? Not bad at all.
ReplyDeleteNo. About a half mile down the road.
DeleteThank you. Nice latticework on that cottage. And the wicker furniture is de rigueur.
DeleteSummertime...and the living's easy ... Love it !!
