Sigh, it with measured regret that I share with all Muffatola disciples that Ferd, as we knew him, is no longer in corporal form. Shortly after attending, against his keenest instinct, his 50th college reunion in New Haven, where he was compelled to sit through interminable, uniformed remembrances of 'good old college days' expressed by one after the other turgid seventy-somethings, he once again decided to leave this world by his own hand. Whilst departing Connecticut, he stopped in Jamestown. There, he took a small dingy out onto the water and was never seen again, at least by humans. There it is.
Fall is my very favourite season so, most probably Fall. Our son came back from 2 weeks trip to Washington D.C. in September, he fell in love with the city and can't wait for the next trip. I have a feeling it won't be Florida, Hawaii or NY any more, rather New England...Beautiful photos, as always!
Brown U main green, Wilson (now Friedman) hall and John Carter Brown Library?
ReplyDeleteYes! It was a nice surprise to see my school on here.
DeleteBowdoin Campus is a national treasure. Thanks, Muffolator.
ReplyDeleteTell Ferd I said hello.

ReplyDeleteMy comment was supposed to be under ‘When do you want to go to Connecticut?’ obviously. Sorry, no idea why it landed here.
