Most excellent! Thank you, so very much!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely jumper! The U.S. Navy had a sweater for the surface community for years, but it appears to have been deleted. It was Navy blue and patterned after the U.K. commando jumper, supposedly the surface Navy's answer to a Navy flight jacket. By the way, U.S. Navy submariners pronounce it "sub-muh-REEN-er." That means "someone who goes to sea in and operates submarines." The other pronunciation may be intuitive and sound cool, but submariners say it connotes "less than a mariner."
ReplyDelete^ Good to know, thank you.

That's a nice stride and pace you seem to have walking along a beautiful beach. I will try to be mindful of it when I go for my daily walk.
