A Fabulous New Tattersall from Mercer, and Their New Site!

Mercer & Sons has just added a brand new (and fabulous) tattersall, the Kent Plum Brushed Cotton Flannel Tattersall.   A marvelously attractive palette, it features a green, navy, plum check in their super soft brushed cotton flannel.   Both of my Kent Plum Tattersalls have a modified spread collar and I also had both of them shortened a bit.

Also, check out their newly designed website where they managed to keep their unique and special feel while improving ease and online storefront.  And in addition, production time is now much faster.

  2. Agreed! A lovely pattern. Nice site redesign too as you say.

  3. Worth mentioning that Mercer finally updated the e-commerce part of their website! While part of me appreciated their old school methods of doing business, hopefully this will bolster their sales and keep Mercer around for years to come.

    1. The new site is much improved. The old one was clunky to say the least.

  4. Do Mercer's shirts have mother of pearl buttons like Drake's OCBDs? The custom tailoring service looks ideal for me but I would want MOP buttons even if there is an additional charge.

  5. I have the exact tattersall in the pink/blue/green colors, I purchased it in 1983. It is not a Mercer. I still wear it; if I could, I'd post a picture of it! More proof that classics never die. --Holly
