I love lighthouses. Living in the Boston area we have several wonderful old sentinels, Boston Light, Minots 143, and Graves. When sailing I love passing Nobska and feel I’m almost home when passing Cleveland Ledge and eventually Wing’s Neck, our mooring is in Red Brook Harbor.Thank you for sharing another of your father’s wonderful photos. “I can think of no other edifice constructed by man as altruistic as a lighthouse. They were built only to serve.” George Bernard Shaw
I biked around Isleboro last fall and snapped a shot of this lighthouse at the ferry landing. This is a great day trip. For some reason time flies on an island.
