I purchased one of their four ply shetlands last year in olive green. I like them brushed because they’re a little softer and a little less formal. Strongly recommend considering sizing up.
I ordered one of these Blue Mogganer sweaters in the “SPRING MEADOW” color, and am looking forward to receiving it.
I hope Bosie will offer their Shadecard Service frequently because there are unique colors on it that you just can’t find anywhere else. And I also enjoy their creative naming - for example, shades of green wool called “Crabapple,” and “New Lawn,” etc.
Your computer is fine (the sweater really is green), and I know it's confusing, but the name "Blue Mogganer" refers to the Scottish town of Petershead, and it's residents , and not to a specific color sweater.
Here is the background:
Peterhead is known as The Blue Toon, derived from the distinctive blue clothing worn by the fisher folk in days gone by. Apart from being Peterheidians and Blue Tooners, people of Peterhead were called Blue Mogganers - said to be from the local Doric for the coarse blue stockings over their sea boots.
I just received my new "Spring Meadow" Blue Mogganer sweater, and it is terrific in all aspects. I highly recommend Bosie - you won't find anything better anywhere.

A proven winner to be sure! Well made, great details! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me and my computer, or is the sweater in the photo "green"? A fine sweater in any case.

Hope this helps.
Thank you Richard.
