A perfect piece of knitwear for banging around a castle.

Shawl collar cardigan (swoon) in nothing smaller than a men’s medium, alas. I searched with hope in my heart through its offerings for women, but Cordings has a very different narrative running through that collection. I’d be willing to emerge from stealth mode to sign a petition ;-)
ReplyDeleteI want your clothes budget.
ReplyDeleteJust perfect! As always! Thank you once again, so very much!
ReplyDelete"Why bother about winter?" said the Grasshopper
ReplyDeleteYou know? I was waxing about the approach of fall to my wife at the dinner table yesterday evening: cooler weather, fewer biting/stinging insects, fall rains, longer nights, fires in the fire pit out back on Friday and Saturday evenings, colorful leaves by the end of October (in Mid-Michigan), the fireplace in use once again. The best of the four seasons. And I say that as a fan of winter sports, mind you.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,

Its a lovely sweater, with its lush (read: thick) knit it could be a jacket. The autumnal color is perfect. However, here in south-central Pennsylvania it will be many more weeks until my favorite weather arrives and such a sweater could be comfortably worn.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we only had one or two very cold weeks last winter (here in the mid-Atlantic). I really miss wearing wool but unless it's very, very lightweight, it's just too warm now.
