ReplyDeleteSplendid, as always! I have my mom's button collection, 50 years old and counting... and have always loved sifting through its contents. While I have used some to decorate a box I have never thought about creating a picture. Wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteThere used to be the cutest shop in Marblehead that sold jewelry made from antique buttons. Thought of it when I saw the wonderful picture of buttons here. Nice to know pretty ones have other purposes than fastening clothing. And I agree that house is stunning. Just wish I knew where it is. Looks like Rhode Island architecture to me....but it could be anywhere.
