Sterling Silver Turk's Head Bracelet from Tory's Jewelry
Photo by Salt Water New England
This great looking sterling silver Turk's Head Bracelet from Tory's - located in Marblehead, Massachusetts' Historic District - is a refined and dressed up version of the classic summer bracelet (Sailor's Knot) while maintaining the simplicity that has made the design so popular throughout New England's coastal towns.
Great bracelet! I could not help but notice that wonderful bag monogrammed and in my favorite color combination - navy & pink. I still enjoy having many of my plain shirts and tees pepped up with the personality of a monogram. And my towels, too. I'm wondering how the community feels about monograms.
Great bracelet. Clever to make a silver version of the traditional rope one. BUT... as accessories go, nothing can touch the good old hinged gold bangle (with safety bar). Plain or subtly engraved with a vague flower or vine motif. Preferably handed down from mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother. Preferably with a couple of dents or dings that show its age. Can be, and often is, worn with everything from shorts and a polo shirt to a wedding gown.
Pretty!

ReplyDeleteI'm a Southern girl. We monogram everything. My favorite is to monogram tone on tone, navy monogram on a navy bag.
DeleteOh, how I love that bracelet.

I have the khaki tone on tone! ; ) Lovely little totes. Perfect for summer.
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky enough to have the 4 strand version of this bracelet (from Tory's of course!) and I LOVE it. So classic and well made - 2 thumbs WAY up.
ReplyDeleteA proven winner to be sure! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBought one for my wife last year for Christmas. She gets a lot of compliments on it.
ReplyDeleteLove the bag. Where did you get it?
