I've said it before and I'll say it again. Mercer and Sons shirts are great. But a couple of whites and a couple of blues are all you need. Maybe one blue and white stripe if you want to get crazy.

How long does it take, typically, before a Mercer order arrives, please? I am eagerly awaiting a pair of shirts ordered at the start of February. Can't go wrong with pink and white stripes by the way.

ReplyDeleteVariety or not? I vacillate. In my twenties I owned white and a few blue Brooks button downs and did not covet variety. Then a blue candy stripe crept in and then Brooks weren't having. At the same time the blazer was worn more and suiting choices were more limited. Enter Mercer and Bengal stripes, varied candy stripes, and so much more. Now blazer, plain slacks,
