Tattersall and Purple

Photo by Salt Water New England
While I subscribe to the belief that there are almost no bad tattersalls, I similarly believe that some sweater colors work better than others. Purple is the best match I have found.

  2. That Barbour is not "broken in" enough...

  3. I agree! I have a dark purple foulard tie that goes very well with a light field tattersall with a faint purple stripe. Combines with a charcoal grey herringbone tweed. Well, I know what I am wearing to work tomorrow :)

  5. Hello! That combination looks lovely. I would like to order a Mercer shirt for myself, but do they make shirts specifically for women? I don't see that the measurement guide accounts for the bust. Thank you.

    1. As of now, they only make shirts for Men, which happen to fit me well, especially through the shoulders and with regards to arm length. I sometimes take two inches off of the tails and sometimes not.

  6. And re the Bosie Shetland.....how much brushing and do you purchase men’s or women’s?

    1. Bosie has sent to me both Men's and Women's, and I have sized up with all of them. This purple sweater was given a light brushing.
