Pretty. There's a brand called Dudley Stephens you might like. Their turtlenecks would look really lovely on you. I'm embarrassed to admit I own seven of them (overboard I went) but they look great with everything.
Lovely lady- lovely look. I certainly agree with the other comments. I wonder why I feel so comfortable with being complimentary in this case but would never have even thought about making a comment about the attractive young woman in navy pictured in yesterday’s post.
What seems to be the best source for classic pearl necklaces and earrings these days? The old link to Demoiselle doesn't appear to be working currently ...
Many swear by Mikimoto, and my mother had a 3-strand necklace from the late 50s that I still find beautiful. These days, I find it overpriced for what it is. Tiffany's is also another source, but I don't like the new collections, and a gemologist acquaintance of mine who actually works for Tiffany's cautioned me not to buy my pearls there as the middleman fees are exorbitant. Since then, I have fallen in love with South Sea pearls from Australia. Paspaley is a great brand.
Classic elegance.
ReplyDeleteSimply elegant and elegantly simple.

You're a pretty girl, Muff!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. (Just not used to seeing a sweater on a beach which I equate with sweltering temps and stifling humidity). Oh, to be up North!

American women please take notes here and stay out of the tattoo parlors.
ReplyDeleteI couldn’t agree with you more more. I don’t know if it’s my age, background or a combo of both but I cringe at the site of tattoos.
DeleteI love cool enough for a sweater summer weather.
You can tell from this?
