  1. I love the shirts and madder silk but prefer a three-fold "normal" tie. What's the James Bond connection? I can't recall him ever wearing a tattersall shirt.

  2. Ancient Madder ties in a neat/foulard pattern are my favorite. Bought a few right before COVID - now no one wears ties - well, I still do whenever I can find an excuse ;-)

  3. It’s amazing. I left the northwest corner to spend a few days in the city. I was out and about on UWS in midtown and in the Village. Hardly anyone wears leather shoes. And finally I walked up to some gent and told him, “I never thought I would be impressed by someone just because they wear a suit and (!) a tie.”

    1. Here in Virginia hunt county most men wear ties to hunt related social events. We belong to the sporting museum in town and most wear ties when attending any sort of event. It’s also not unusual to see someone wear a coat and a tie to a Saturday meet to watch the hounds go off. Virginia is not New England but we do seem to be living in a time warp.
