Ha ha! These are Jack Donnellys. I am experimenting with taking them to my seamstress for a nip and a tuck, because as you say, the color is perfect. And there is no stretch.
I agree they are the perfect color. I find that khakis, like reds, fade, and they always seem to achieve this perfect color right as the bottom edges are beginning to fray. At least they are not like Madras. As soon as it has faded and softened to perfection it begins to fall apart. Life can be so challenging.
Pink and green together is the classic color combination for the Southern preppy woman, especially for alumnae of Sweet Briar College. The added navy is just perfection. Love ... BTW, the admissions office at SBC is all done up in lime and hot pink ... oooh la la !
Those khakis are the perfect color! May I ask where you got them?

DeleteThank you! This is a great idea. It’s so hard finding proper women’s khakis. I will look into this…
DeleteDo you start with the slim or tapered cut? Or do you start with a baggier fit and go from there?
