Count me in please. The ice cream cone paper wrappers are an aspect of our no risk whatsoever society. It’s what they call “the sleeping student school bus syndrome.” One student on a school bus falls asleep unnoticed and before you know it every school bus in the country has posted a sign saying the bus has been checked for sleeping students. The same thinking brings us the ice cream cone paper wrappers. One day, someone, somewhere must (perhaps?) acquires an ailment traced to an ice cream cone. Forever now, we are subject to trying to tear off the *%# wrapper so we won’t ingest a scrap of paper and glue now fixed to the bottom of every wrapped cone. Of course, as we try and tear off the paper the precious ice cream is swiftly melting.
Happy cavvy! Love the Blenheim's.

ReplyDeleteHa-ha... exactly!
DeleteTerrific photos. I'll take a pass, though, on the Moxie Float.
ReplyDeleteYou ice cream fans out there - am I the only one frustrated by the paper wrap they now put on the cones ?
ReplyDeleteNo you're not, very frustrating!

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos and make me miss New England. I'm craving an Awful Awful wicked awful!
ReplyDeleteThe cruise ship looks so out of place. I wonder if it got lost on the way to slamming into an iceberg in the North Atlantic.
ReplyDeleteThe cruise ship is like cigar smoke in the dining room.
ReplyDeleteGood work. All of my similar sayings are R-rated.
DeleteI am from the deep south, but the photos of New England make me homesick and nostalgic. Go figure!
