HEY FIRST!! LOL Great picture! The ONLY time I was able to see an eagle that close was inside a box brought in at the LSU vet clinic many years ago as he hurt his wing. Damn, they are huge.
Thanks for sharing! Great photos! We also had a local bald eagle (family, actually) in our neighborhood growing up and I never realized how special it was until I moved to a more urban area and never saw them. I grew up in northern Michigan and they are about as common as hawks of any species.
