Ah, Land-Rovers. That one's in good shape. The back part of the frame (there is no rear bumper) is a trap for road salts. Looks like the owner is set up for a tailboard and canvas top. No free-wheeling hubs. Exceptionally shiny fenders for one that old, pre-1968 is my guess. Wish I still had one, but I have many other wishes.
Christmas in Connecticut.
ReplyDeleteIt just doesn't get any better than that.

ReplyDeleteLooks like the vehicle on the Britbox show "Vera". Love older Land-Rovers!
DeleteIn the wreath on the door of the 1806 Richard Hayden house, what are the lime-green clusters? Anyone know? (I assume they're not broccoli - !)
ReplyDeleteTight green pod like clusters- like found on bay or eucalyptus trees...
