Few accessories recall the light touch of the late 70s and early 80s in my mind as bright ribbon watchbands. They were as much a staple as Izod Lacoste shirts and French lessons.

Ribbon watch bands, layered oxford shirts, cuffed khakis, boat shoes and red solo cups on the beach around bonfires bring the '80's back for me. Cartier tank with olive ribbon being worn today.
