    1. We used to go the last we of July every year. It always had spectacular weather. Now, due to additions to our family, we go first week in August. One would think a week wouldn’t matter that much, but actually it brought many rainy days. Enjoy!

    1. Roque Island is amazing although very private. You need permission to come ashore.

  24. Hingham Harbor, Newport, Annapolis
    - Hingham harbor comes alive on a sunny summer Saturday
    - Newport is filled with yachts, yachties and yacht clubs
    - Annapolis has perhaps the best racing - 6 nights/wk - and most are right in the harbor for all to watch

  25. Old Harbor, Block Island & Galilee, RI

  26. Off the Great Beach at Roque Island (top favorite although in danger of getting spoiled), Buckle Harbor on the western side of Swan's Island, Horseshoe Cove near Buck's Harbor. I hear the little cove behind Mistake Island way down east near Moose Peak Lighthouse is a treasure. It's on my bucket list. And all the more populated places like Northeast Harbor, Camden, Christmas Cove and Marblehead, too.
