  1. Now that's an interesting question and could possibly be several things but I'll go with "aficionado's"

    1. That was my first thought too but I'll offer connoisseur as an alternative.

  2. "Aficionado's" does indeed seem to be the right words. I am one of them, and "aficionado's" sounds so much nicer than "tweed and tattersall nuts."

    1. That was my original thought. I have a hundred and one Cordings tattersalls but boy are these beautiful...I think I need a new one.

    2. Yes, I think I too am going to have to find room for a couple more

    3. With 101 Cordings tattersalls (like Dalmatians?), “addict” would be more appropriate for Sartresky!

    4. Of course I don't really have 101, Ken -- but if I did, I'm sure I would need 102! I don't have the issue you have with the fit; different body type I guess.

    5. So you are not a fellow shirt addict? On top of my wardrobe are a dozen new shirts (no tattersalls sadly) from Hilditch & Key in Jermyn Street. They were made in the old factory in Fife (long gone) during the Noughties but remain unopened!

  3. I don’t know the answer. I just came here to avoid the Trolls on the tucked/untucked shirt debacle

    1. These Cordings' Tattersalls are the best out there, and the various color combinations keep you coming back for more. Well made, comfortable shirts.

Now, I would put "smart" in the blank space - "aficionado's" is very good, but for me, it carries the implication and linkage to Cuban cigars.

    2. Am I the only one bothered by that incorrect apostrophe in the plural of aficionado?

    3. Please accept my humble apologies. You are of course correct it shouldn't be there

  4. Despite being a loyal customer for more than 20 years, I have no Cordings shirts despite their excellent quality and tremendous value. Designed for shooting, their waist is only an inch less than the chest. All the men's shirts have this "generous" cut and look like billowing tents on me. The huge amount of excess material around the waist is hard to fit into my trousers and, frankly, looks very slovenly. Please ask your contacts at Cordings to introduce some regular or tailored fit shirts as soon as possible. I would buy lots of them and I'm confident that lots of other customers would too.

  5. I only buy button down collar shirts of this type; I don't like the look of the shirt collar outside of the sweater neck.

  6. The more, the merrier!
