I wish I still had the Triumph Spitfire (mark 3) that I had in my early twenties. It was a poorly built rust bucket in truth, but I loved it. (I doubt that I would be able to get in to it now lol)
I would like to hop into that blue Volvo wagon ... pick up treats at the general store ... pick some wildflowers ... park at little marina for a picnic and then be invited aboard a vintage wooden sailboat for a glass of wine.
My Dad had a blue Volvo wagon, just like the one in the picture. I recommended that he get one after he pulled out from a stop sign in his Honda SW and had the front of the car sheared off from a car he didn't see. Dad passed away in 1985, we sold the car. I should have kept it in his honor.
Gorgeous photos as always. I love this website, but it continuously makes me homesick.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Looking forward to the day I can move back to the Berkshires!
DeleteAbsolute perfection! Always does my heart good to see another Triumph on the road! Thanks so very much!

DeleteEnd of summer boats being hauled out. It always seems to come too early and is a somewhat wrenching sight.
