I took out my new Navy Sloane Knitted Jacket (picture below) from Cordings of Piccadilly today.  Made in Italy, this a very thick, tightly woven, protective, and substantial wool garment.  It instantly feels comfortable and like other favorite jackets, it has well-placed hand pockets and zips up for protection.  It performed brilliantly in the bright sunshine and whipping cool winds off the water.
