  1. A wonderful combination of colors! I do something similar often at this time of year along with a tweed jacket and wool tie.

    Kind Regards,

  2. Moleskin is solid winter wear. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

  3. I have a few pairs of Cordings moleskin trousers that I wear with box cloth braces (called suspenders in the USA). It should be noted that the care instructions are "dry clean only". That is good advice in my experience. They are best reserved for wearing with tweed jackets or blazers.

Normally, I wear Cordings heavier moleskin jeans in the cooler months which wash superbly. See - https://www.cordings.co.uk/beige-moleskin-jeans.html. Unfortunately, they were cleared out in the summer sale and most sizes are not in stock at the moment.

I also have a few pairs of the Stonecutter moleskin jeans which are in stock. The cloth is not as thick and the cut/rise can vary. If possible, try them on before buying. Thankfully, 19 Piccadilly has just re-opened after being closed for 20 months or more. Hope this helps.

  5. I have a couple pair myself. They are of wonderful quality. The cut does take some getting used to -- they are quite tapered at the ankle compared with traditional American trousers.

  6. The pink shirt goes well with the olive green moleskins. That particular color combination never occurred to me. Any other suggestions for shirt colors to wear with those pants?
