  1. As I have pointed out previously, Lawrence & Foster makes caps for Cordings, Oliver Brown and other British retailers. They are available in natural and navy linen for only £36, highly recommended for summer.

  2. Will you wear the deerstalker? In "Rumpole and the Sporting Life," Phillida Erskine-Brown wears one to the Bar Races and it is described as giving her "the curious appearance of a red-headed and personable Sherlock Holmes."

I can see myself wearing a Deerstalker (in either Loxley or Esk) to go with my other Cordings tweeds, and am thinking about getting one.

But I think the Sherlock is best left to Costume Parties accompanied by a large magnifying glass though.

  4. As for now I am consigned to the hotter portion of the country, these will sit atop heads other than mine. It is T3 weather in the south.

  6. L&F are based just down the road from me. I think I have one of their caps but it carries the branding of a small gents outfitters who are based in the Yorkshire Dales.
