Dubarry of Ireland Boot Care

Photo by Salt Water New England
This is a good time of year of a bit of boot care.  Dubarry of Ireland offers an excellent line of products,  all made by a company in the UK who have a blue seal (environmentally friendly) and are all fleury carbon-free

  1. Your attention to this matter is very timely and important. Thank you. Conscientious care of your leather goods will reward you in the long run, We have boots that have been treated well, but not gently, over the years. Some are over 20 years old. They couldn’t be any more comfortable.

  2. And don't limit it to boots! I just hit my Maliseets and Sperrys with Lexol to help them stay at their best and age gracefully and slowly.

  3. My dad was a shoemaker so cleaning and polishing was something I learned while very young. I would line up various shoes and spend time detailing each one, similar to the picture in this post! I still use his collection of bristle brushes. Nothing compares to the luster imparted after a bit of buffing. This basic task of shoe maintenance is truly one of the simple pleasures and disciplines in life.

  5. Please do a post about rugs. Especially the rug under the table in this post. I purchased a rug with an identical pattern from an estate sale and I'd love to learn more.
