These were all taken in the last week. Our numbers have greatly improved and restrictions have been eased. Outside looks more "normal" but inside everyone is masked and keeping their distance. So far...
I know very little about grave markers and punctuation was never my strong suit (just ask Miss Rutland) but it seems that you need a comma or something to show that the birth and death dates are for Mindwell and not Jonathan or maybe the dates were for him.
I'm loving that it's an actual Wild Turkey in the cemetery and not some old bottle of it some thoughtless person tossed in there! Great old Puritan name on the headstone. My grandmother's family had some Leanders, Howletts and Goodloves. Try putting those monikers on anyone these days!
So wish I could visit. Summer vacation plans are nil. Someday there will be a vaccine for Covid-19. Until then I will savor the beautiful photos and dream of a better future.
This looks so normal it's scary.
ReplyDeleteAm I missing something?
"Mindwell" -- what a great first name -- never heard that one before.

DeleteIt is great to see some sort of normalcy again. The red SAAB is pretty sharp too.
ReplyDeleteThat turkey is quite a beautiful creature!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely is this.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Muffy.
