  6. Lovely images and wonderful low-key style right down to the Madras belt! You appear to resemble your mother. I inherited my love of NACL H2O from my sea-loving parents-especially my mom. One of my earliest memories was when they had a wooden(imagine!)catboat built and launched from our backyard which backed onto an estuary on the Great South Bay. In many ways she was the son my grandfather never had as he taught her how to run her first boat (a Chesapeake Bay Dory) by age nine. The baymen liked her because she was one of the few people who knew to slow down as she passed their areas-a courtesy often sadly ignored these days. Happy Mother's Day to all of you who respect and admire classic maritime traditions and life!
