Admiring that chicken's cape, then noticed it's saddle is also really nice, maybe for some march brown dries, and those black rump feathers could make interesting underwings on streamers, and the leg feathers I can use too, maybe on some wets. What the heck, how much for the whole skin?
Snowy owl in the daylight - common sighting in Maine? We primarily get barred owls where we live, though we hear/see barn owls occasionally. Probably snacking on the voles our cats used to eat. Unusual to see them before dusk or after dawn.
Just all so very lovely. Thank you for all the wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteYou never show Subarus. Does that mean that they are inappropriate ?
ReplyDeleteNo, it's just probably why she never shows any Yugos either.
DeleteThat's a good one, Bob.
DeleteThank You dearest Muffy! xo
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your photos of when you're out and about! The old wagons were great, as well as the dogs.

Wow! What is not to like about these awesome photos.
ReplyDeleteThe word noble comes to mind when I look at the pics of that wonderful black dog.
The canine on the skateboard is CAF which is my secret abbreviation for too cool for words.
The other dog is very nice as well.
You outdid yourself with these.
Simply excellent.
The beach pictures are always my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe close up shots of the birds are just stunning (rooster included)!

ReplyDeleteDogs help you get out and appreciate the winter days! Is that a Flat Coated Retriever? Hardly ever see them....
ReplyDeleteLove the SAAB.
ReplyDeleteIs there ever any better image than a Bulldog riding a skateboard?
