  1. My absolute favorite time of year. Halloween should be a holiday!

  2. I have a serious spider phobia!! Yikes! I need to watch Charlotte's Web now ( my therapy).

I'm not a fan of Halloween but I do love the creative displays in the photos. Very nice!

    1. Alas, adults have hijacked Halloween. Back in the day, 8th grade, in our town, was the self imposed cut off for trick or treating. Today, in many neighborhoods many porch lights are turned off on October 31. Why? Homeowners are out celebrating themselves, not home handing out candy.

    2. So true- for many 'new age' reasons. I don't remember when I quit trick or treating but it was probably middle school. As I stated above, I'm not a fan of Halloween but I know the children love it so I always hand out candy or some other treat. I also make the treats extra special and creative for the kids because most of my neighbors usually leave or take their children to other neighborhoods leaving about 5 of us to provide all the treats.
