  1. Looks like my shirt rack in my laundry room as well. I never put shirts in the dryer. They wear out too quickly if put in the dryer. I'm cheap! LOL

  2. Certainly anyone with this many shirts needs not a dryer. What’s the rush? How many shirts does one wear in one day?

    1. My closet has about 6 feet of tightly packed (men's) shirts on hangers. But with the exception of the handful of viyella ones, they all go: washer, then dryer, then hanger. Life's too short for ironing.

    1. Looks like an FL Woods shirt. They have port/starboard colors on the button holes. However looks sold out. I called and was told they will restock in the future.

    2. Yes, it is an F.L. Woods Captains Oxford in Pink, and as Michael said, is currently sold out. One of my favorites.

  4. It makes me sad because I've never seen such — such beautiful shirts before.

    1. When I first read this line, at 15 years of age, I didn’t understand it. I understand it now, and it’s truly heartbreaking.

  5. Drying shirts in the dryer is a sure way to guarantee that your 16" collar will be 15 1/2" after a while.

    1. This is from Anon (9:39 pm) — Shrinking collar? Not a problem, I'm retired.

I wear a tie only at weddings and funerals, and I have a special wedding-and-funeral shirt which is worn only on such occasions.

  6. The only way to dry! Thank much.

  7. Heather, that pink shirt is, without a doubt, from F.L. Woods. The other cuff likely has red button holes.

  8. Surcingle belts! So far I have only been able to find them through O'Connells. Where did you find those beautiful belts?
