  9. All wonderful pictures!

    However, can anyone tell what the white flowers in image No 12 are called. They are the white flowers in the picture with the yellow lilies. They seem to be the same flowers in images 26 and 27. They look great; and as I want to redo my garden next year I'd like to see about getting some of those.

      It's difficult to identify from this distance but I think it's Phlox paniculata ' David' It's a variety of summer phlox.

  10. Zinnias...'the heads little suns you watch die on the stem if you want the bloom back' (to quote from the poem of that name by Tyler Mills), which we always did. I have seeds that are many generations descended from a package my grandfather gave me to plant in a small corner of his vegetable garden when I was a child.
