Cordings of Piccadilly House Check Cartridge Bag, Made in England

Photos by Salt Water New England
Obviously this is a cartridge bag and is designed for shooting.   But it also serves as an excellent field bag, particularly good for birding as it can comfortably holds binoculars and field guide for fast access.  Made in England of Scottish tweed, it is offered in the wonderful Cordings House Check.
Shown here with a Cordings Tattersall Shirt and a Cordings Tweed Shooting Waistcoat:
The bag, or its bridle leather counterpart, are perfect for the Glorious Twelfth, just around the corner.
Made using the traditional bonding method, the bag is waterproof and holds its shape.

Brass Fittings and Leather Trim
Lined in a tasteful navy cotton twill, the hinged flap folds over completely and stays open for easy and fast access when reloading.

The wide shoulder strap (made of a handsome bright navy cotton webbing)  has a long enough drop to go over bulkier field coats in cooler weather, and is wide enough that it does not easily slip off the shoulder.

I also have used, and will continue to use, this as a pocketbook.
