Thank you, found this/spent time here- https://www.theartstory.org/artist-wyeth-andrew-life-and-legacy.htm and what "Christina's World (1948)" is. Thank you again!
Beautiful Port Clyde....my wife and I were eating lobster one night on one of the above picnic tables when Linda Bean came over and introduced herself and talked for a half hour.
Love it when you identify the location of the photos. Thanks! I love Port Clyde but it's been ages since I was there and I'd forgotten about the "oreo" cows.
Just so very beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful photos.

ReplyDeleteI was just out and back to Monhegan yesterday. Was on the Laura B on the way out and the Elizabeth Ann on the way back.

ReplyDeleteWhen I went to Monhegan more than 30 years ago, I went over on a grocery boat and sat on a crate of potatoes.
ReplyDeleteProbably the Laura B: https://monheganboat.com/our-boats/
DeleteThat's the more grocery-boatish of the two.
