Life on the Connecticut Shore - 1960s

Photo by Salt Water New England

  1. Fifty years ago - wonderful time and the first thing I see in the picture is someone enjoying a “smoke”. I remember how good it was back then...a beverage and a smoke. Ah, the life. Today even the smell is foul but I do remember those days. As always, thanks for making a bit of my day more enjoyable and interesting.

  2. Thanks again for such wonderful photos. Always makes for a great start to the day. Cheers!

  3. Slightly less hair given the era, of course, but not unlike the horse set outside Philadelphia (Bucks and Berks counties) in the 1970s and 80s. The men's poses are familiar too. Mom always smoked in either the one stance, or the other while observing us during riding lessons.

    Best Regards,

  4. Used to ride, used to drink, used to smoke cigarettes. Still in Connecticut. This photo is making me feel healthy, but awfully dull.

This shot reminds me of one of those puzzle photos ... how many people are shown here?
