The Classic Purdie Scarf in Iona Cream - Made in Scotland

Purdies of Scotland was kind enough to send me one of their beautiful scarves.  The incredibly soft and lightweight Classic Purdie in Iona Cream, a 100% Scottish Product, is made of 50% Alpaca and 50% recycled rose bush fibre.

"This is a 100% Scottish product; grown in the southern Highlands; weaved at Selkirk in the Borders; carefully hand-finished at the coastal village of Anstruther in the Kingdom of Fife."

  2. I have not heard of Purdies before. The range is small so it could be a new start-up venture. The scarf interests me as I have sensitive skin. It could be a spring alternative to my silk scarves from Cordings. Hopefully, Purdies will offer a wider range of colours in the future.

  4. I've a couple of scarves, but I prefer turtlenecks ( both the shirt and sweater versions ) to keep my neck warm :)
