Sperry's are very cool. Cigarettes, not so much.
I never found the to be very good boat shoes, slippery deck grip-wise.
They were designed to protect the deck's finish- not the folks wearing them!
Interesting comparison between two different ways of going fishing....!
The original Sperry CVO had razor-cut sipes on the sole that worked very well on a wet deck. Sometime in the 90's they changed the sole design to a molded tread, which I find not as good as the original.
