  1. I need to get to the Newbury Street Shreve, Crump and Low to have my granddaughter's sterling baby cup engraved. Hopefully, before she turns one-year!

    1. @Anonymous:
No need to mention "sterling", as it's taken for granted. Or, as my grandmother would say: "Is there any other kind?"

  2. I think they were only on Boylston Street from the early 2000s - in the old FAO Schwartz building - 'til they moved again to Newbury Street.

    1. I have a receipt from them from 1991 that says 330 Boylston Street. :)

    2. Confused for a bit- the shot above is the NEW Boylston Street location. I always thought of OLD Boylston Street location as Arlington Street. Leaving aside why you have a receipt from 1991....does it spark joy? ;)

    3. Patsy - your comment made me smile. I thought the same thing but as someone who still carries the card from my honeymoon at Caneel Bay in my wallet (1995) I cannot judge about old receipts.

    4. The exterior shot is of 440 Boylston they moved there from 330 Boylston (corner of Arlington) in the early 2000's. I recall that they advertised in the Boston Globe Magazine in to 90's and their tagline was "two floors...countless stories."

  3. We've stopped in the store on Newbury St. several times to look at the beautiful items they have for sale. The folks who work there are so kind and welcoming. Couldn't be nicer.
